It's been a little while since I bought something from him, but both times I did, I got great sevice, communication, price, and quality. I purchased an intake and the STi-replica short-shifter, got them both quickly, and they worked great. Thanks, Larry!

I would have to agree bought the Borla headers from him then the Stromung dual-tip and mid-pipe. Couldn’t be happier with the service.

Yeah, Larry has awesome service. I've bought intake, exhaust, shifter and AGX struts from him and they have all arrived within a week. And he always answers e-mails right away.

Larry is great. His products are good and the prices are honest and fair.

I have installed a couple of his his STi replica short shift arm and a couple of his N1 replica exhausts and they were very good.

He even called me on a Sunday to answer a few of my questions.

It just goes to show you that the person, does, make the business.

Keep up the good work Larry. http://i-club.com/forums/images/icons/icon14.gif

When I ordered my intake (MY 01 Legacy) from him he gave me the best price he could. When I asked about some wheels and prices that I could get somewhere else he was honest and told me I was getting a great deal and to buy from the other person.
It is good to deal with honest straight forward business people;)
Keep up the good work.

Larry is the man! I ordered a GanzFlow intake from him and boy was that incredible. I also ordered a Borla Cat Back exhaust from him and am planning on ordering a Cobb Tuning Short shift lever and cusco bushings from him in the very near future.

OH MY GOD!!

How did I miss this one! :o

Thanks everyone. I try hard, but sometimes I don't feel like it isn't hard enough. It's killing me lately with delays on receiving and shipping Stromung, N1 and Cusco products... :(

Take care and thanks again!

Definitely rocks.
Bought a used intake for 55 bucks!!
and a 20mm swaybar..
both came quickly with great service,
However this N1 3 pulley set is starting to get on my nerves... But it seems to be out of larry's hands and he is great at keeping you in the loop as to your product's status.

I have full faith that everything i order from him comes within due time, very honest and upfront dealer.

I've ordered a number of things from Larry at different times. (CAI, Amsoil Filter, Pully set) He's always let me know what's going on and I've recieved the parts in a reasonable period of time. Larry's one of the few vendors on the board I actually TRUST. He's even pointed toward another vendor when he didn't have the parts I was looking for. Larry's #1 :)

I think Larry is the only vendor on the board who everyone loves and no one has ever had any problems with...And that being said, I like Larry, too! :D It's been awhile since I looked at what products he offers...I should go do that now :p

Thanks Fido.

I think there have been some rare and occasional problems but only very recently, with some of my suppliers not coming through as fast as they said they would.

Most hold the inventory for me, and let me order one at a time (less profit than if I stock it though) and drop ship, but sometimes I get a large chunk of orders for a product in a such a short period of time that they cannot fill them all immediately. This is very frustrating for me and the customer, especially when I cannot get an exact or accurate due date from the supplier. All I can do is stay in constant contact with the customers and let them know that they are not lost or forgotten. When I go through my backorders and my "to do" list and email the customers, I feel like I am making daily rounds at the hospital to visit my patients - giving attention to detail and their feelings...

I now have most of these issues resolved, i.e. 3 pulley sets in stock now after a 4 week delay, the Pro1 front/rear strut bars sets are in stock again after a 7 week backorder, I have two suppliers for the MAF adapters and shifters now, and I have a new supplier for 2.5" exhausts that will only take 2-3 weeks instead of 8 weeks, etc... I have intakes, and filters, and G2 paint stocked up as well. Sway bars and shifters are pretty easy too.

Even Cobb Tuning (great guys) posted recently in the general forum that there are still a many glitches remaining in the supply/demand curve that ALL Subaru resellers/retailers/customers have to live with, due to the limited market share for Subaru products out there and limited availability of products. Certain parts for Subaru will continue to take longer to deliver than customers like or expect. And all we can do is try to reassure them that the delay is out of our control. If it weren't for my reputation here to rely on, I would lose customers when these occasional delays pop up.

For example, Cusco still takes a while for the oval bars that everyone wants, so more of the 40mm round bars sit around unsold. They make camber plates for WRX now, and I was told 3-4 weeks for a set, and it is now 6 weeks since the customer ordered. I was going to sell a very nice turbo kits but I wont take orders for until I have one in stock to sell, or know for a fact the delivery time in advance. The PRM racing filters still take 1-3 weeks to come in from Canada, and I only get 5-6 at a time. The power steering pulleys for the three pulley sets are still 2 weeks away. The JCS torque chips sell faster than they can make them and take up to 2-3 weeks to ship. Etc...

Another example - Stromung sells mostly stainless steel exhaust systems, so I recently had to wait 4-8 weeks for a few mild steel mufflers - yet they ship in only 1-2 weeks for stainless. It was only 3-4 days to ship mild steel when I first started to carry them because nobody was selling that many of them; however I was recently told that I sold more mild steel Stromung in 1 month than they normally make in 3-4 months. They didn't have enough materials to handle all the recent orders, and it wreaked havoc until just recently when they got the materials in stock to build more. I lost half my profit for two of them just negotiating with the customers to not cancel their 7-8 week old orders, and one finally shipped this week.

Again, I post all this to remind people that all vendors have some supply side problems, and while I want more and more satisfied customers, I want the expectations from customers to be realistic - I am not God and am afraid that someone will read all this praise and expect more than I can deliver.

On the other hand, I will always give my 100% effort to get the job done right; taking orders on my 2-way pager or wireless email during the day and responding as fast as possible, not ignoring questions in my email inbox no matter how many times I have answered the same questions over and over, sending tracking numbers, following up on questions, providing tech support, and supporting my peers and other vendors.

Buying up more advance inventory was gonna happen this month, until I blew up my motor yesterday :( Now I am looking at probably buying a used 2.2 Phase II motor to get my car up running by Wednesday, as this will be 2-3 weeks faster and $2,000 cheaper than blueprinting my old 2.5L while having no car to drive. Oh well. I'll have a spare motor that way and can choose which one to build up after that...

Thanks!

The only thing is that now I will not run high boost again on my new OEM shortblock until I can blueprint the old one with low compression forged pistons and such... No more 13 second qtr miles for a while. I'll be running low 14's with only 7 psi up here which is like 5 psi at sea-level :(

Fortunately it only takes 6 psi to beat a stock WRX - been there done that :D

I just finished my first purchase with Larry Ganz. I ordered his "Ganzflow Intake" (and K&N air filter) as well as a stainless Stromung dual tip and mid-pipe.

The intake arrived in no time. Install was easy, but the pipe didn't line up with the air box. After chatting with Larry about it he suggested a simple fix that made the fit much nicer.

The exhaust, though no fault of Larry's, took forever to get here. It finally did arrive and installed quickly and perfectly. During the delay, Larry kept me up to date on the problems, which amounted to it just being out of stock.

Over all, Larry gave great service with good communication. If he has what I need, I will likely purchase from him in the future.

Larry=#1 in my book!!!
He sold me all the parts I needed to adapt a Cobb intake to fit my99(even though the gaskets were the wrong color :p, you know i'm just messin' whichya)!!! He also gave me helpful hints and advice and was always an email away (no 2 day waits with Larry :D )! Always keeps you up to date on shipping info and keeps folks in the know when there products take too long. Gotta love him!!!

Like he says, buy lots of stuff. We need Larry back on the road devouring WRXs  !!!

Thats the one thing larry is great at, treating you like a human being and not just somebody who has ordered parts. He will try and make sure that if anything is going wrong, that you know, understand why, and are fine with it. Instead of most vendors/companies etc that i have dealt with who will just expect you to wait 3 days before they can send you an email update telling you it's delayed.....

My 3 pulley sets came in the mail and i am more then pleased with their quality. With few exceptions there is very little i would not buy from larry if it was a part I wanted. Always good doing business.

Now if only all these problems would go away so he could get that new plastic molded rear airbox section done :) !!!!!

Still waiting for that little toy....

i've made 2 purchases from Larry - N1 pulleys and his 'generic' strut tower brace set ($250 shipped!!).

if he has any of those left and you need strut tower bars, BUY THESE. you can't beat the price of quality bars like these! you can't even buy an endcap for the STi braces at that price.

but, anyway, yeah . . . Larry rules. like someone else said, he treats you like a human.

Just wanted to chime in and say that my dealings with Larry so far have been great. I ordered a SS stromung mipipe, Air Filter, MAF adapter, S-AFC and so on from him. Everything is either on its way or has gotten here on time. To be honest though the best part of it is his customer service and willingness to talk to me when i had really dumb questions :)

Thanks for doing that, as you know thats really important in business. Luckily for your some of the other venodrs dont get that part.
