WIll the sti cluster work in 05 WRX USDM and if so will the adjustable shift light fuction work?

FLAT4motorsports
10-02-2005, 01:17 PM
never tried installing an '02 cluster in an '05....I guess the easiest thing for you would be to see if you have a buddy with an '02/'03 WRX and swap gauges...see if it plugs in.....If so, the Ver7 STi cluster will work and so will the shift light.......

FLAT4motorsports
10-02-2005, 01:22 PM
also, stay tuned.,...I'll have a bunch of 2005 ver8 SPEC C version 8 seats (front back and door panels).......I'm pretty sure I'll also have 3 sets of the very rare all black ver8's as well!!!.....

So if I bought the Ver 7 gauge cluster, I could hook it up, even the shift light ? Lights green ?

if you hook it up, yes.

Adrian, that spec C wheel is soo tempting  is it smaller then V7? and what about airbag connector compatability with old cars :p ... I still need to find dash harness first dammit

FLAT4motorsports
10-14-2005, 09:45 AM
Austin.....complete plug'n'play....no mods needed whatsoever...the shift light will work, and the lights are green...

Hyper......the wheel seems smaller although I haven't taken the time to measure...the wheels is compatible, and I will include the clockspring....these steeringwheels are like brand new with no cuts or bruises....
