Well guys I'm gonna make this my last post for a while. Tomorrow is last day of being in a civilized land. You guys in Fairbanks keep up the modding, so you can be able to keep up with me for a week or two when I come back, cause you know all that cash that I will be making over there will be dumped into my ride, gonna try and make it to 500whp with 15000 bux. I'm giving you a year head start, better see some improvements when I get my 2 weeks of R&R in six months. I'll check up on post every now and then while over there.

This must be a huge security breach saying I am leaving for a year for Iraq, there was a ceremony with over 3000 people in it that heard we were leaving for a year. I gonna throw this out there, maybe people are deaf, dumb and blind in Fairbanks and can't see the goodbye signs outside of post or forgot that they made them or don't watch the news. I really hope you were being sarcastic.

very true. i know good and bad cops. as they say, one bad apple spoils the bunch! just because you run across a jerk or bad cop doesn't make them all bad. my good friend's hubby is on apd and he's a very good and fair cop. my old neighbors were both cops and my ex father-in-law was a cop (of course i've always thought he was a dick even without being a cop). so you see, there are good ones and there unfortunately are a couple bad ones. they still put their life on the line for all of us everyday.

and the military is one of the few careers you can easily retire from by 40! all you need to do is your 20 yrs time and instant $$$ and benefits! :) my dad served 27 yrs, retired and has another career that he will be at for just under 10 yrs now, then when he's 65 he'll have 2 retirements! NICE!

Hello once again guys, I'm currently in a hell hole called Rawah population bought 20000 Iraqis and close to the Syrian border. Couple days ago I flew in a chinook and was shot at by a rocket and some small arms fire, all is good here though. Is that the remains of the rocket you guys are pulling outta that hole? Yeah man that other night, scared the crap outta me. We were sittin outside BSing, and I heard this whistle, looked up and thought it was a jet but it looked a lil low. One of the guys was like, "thats a ****in rocket", it looked like it was coming straight at us. It was so close I saw the fins on the back, could see the orange flames coming outta the back of it too. Next thing I knew guys were yelling to get our Kevlar and Flak Vests on and get into a bunker lol. Glad we're all ok though. Little too close that time. Hope you guys got that bastard! Take care man.

That is actually what is left over of a 122mm rocket that landed about 50 meters outside the wire of our camp, that was 1 of 2 rockets that were fired at our camp that night, the other one landed closer to damien (mike).

That's me on the MK-19, that is one of my dismounts on the .50. We were just about to leave to go into Rawah when that rocket landed by you guys, unfortunately we didn't get the guys who fired it, but we are catching alot of guys that are on the black list and we have been finding weapon caches here and there.

Here's some new advice for you.

If you need UAV, ask for it.

If you decide to be the medic kit, besure to have your shock paddles out so you can revive anyone who gets hit.

Watch out for artillery, if you look on your minimap and see a red target, don't run towards it.

It wasn't a very big camel spider, the body was about the size of a grown mans hand. I didn't wanna kill it at first, so I tried get kinda close to it. Well like Recon said, they are very territorial. The ****in thing charged me. So I ran like a sissy, then turned around after I had gained some distance and killed it. I couldn't believe the damn thing charged me though. Nothing like I've ever seen.

Did you think I would lie to you, had to test the theory about them chasing you and I think they're are somewhat poisonous, but nothing all that strong as a riclous or widow. :banana:
