Are there any issues with using the Tein ones on carbon fiber or fiberglass hoods?

Leo, waiting on answers like ETA ;)

Yaggi, Tein recommends that you DO NOT use their lifts with carbon fiber or fiberglass hoods...

We would recommend the Red Line units as they have been tested to work with CF and fiberglss hoods.

Can you achieve automatic hood pop with these? Or, do they simply replace the hood rod?

-Thanks

Odzilla, pm'ed ya...

Special, they need assistance for the first few inches and can then be allowed to push open the hood. The idea is to get the prop rod out of the way, for a better. cleaner view of the engine compartment and to easily work under the hood.
