I just got my car back from continental, it runs perfect. I just spent the last four hours driving around, (with all the broken tranny peices in my trunk) :banana: it felt good. Props to the continental techs.A+

Glad you got your car back, I think i was there when the tow truck was dropping it off. Was your car a silver sedan damaged in shipping?

Yep, it was damaged during shipping, continental replaced the clutch, and the majority of the tranny internals, I'll be posting pics of the damage sometime this week.

thanks for the compliments, I showed this thread to the tech who repaired your car, so he'd get the message too. make sure and post a pic of the spring hub in the clutch disk, never seen that before :eek: glad things worked out for you in the end. Jerry
