Spoke to a friend at my Dealership over the weekend, and he told me dealer stock arrives in 60 days. They'll be taking orders in 30 days. I consider him to be very reliable.

Suburban Philadelphia. Britt hapa17 08-18-2005, 12:38 AM i've been dealing with a credit union's car locating service to get an '06 Limited, and they connected me with Cypress Coast Subaru in Monterey, CA, with which i put an order in. i was told (by the credit union rep, not directly by the dealer) that it'd be 45 to 60 days before the car will be ready. i really don't know the exact situation, as i only gave my personal information to the dealer, didn't "deal" with them at all, but as far as "my people" tell me, 45 to 60 days. the credit union rep did mention that subaru will be making the TR's first, then the regular sedans, THEN the Limiteds. while i was deciding on which to get, she said if i went for the regular sedan, it'd be more like 30 to 45 days. i've also personally seen a regular wrx sedan at Renick Subaru in Fullerton, CA. i was there when it was delivered, back on august 5th. according to their inventory online, that same black wrx is still there, along with six sti's, all '06s. it seems people have mostly spotted sti's, then regular sedans, and then only a few wagons or Limiteds (only NASIOC member "1 Lucky Texan" has reported seeing a Limited, that i know of). the rollout doesn't seem very logical to me, but i guess the bottom line is, despite the trickle of vehicles arriving now, they won't be released en masse for another 1-1/2, 2 months. alpinev12 08-18-2005, 12:41 AM A WRX Wagon and a STI showed up at my local dealer a week ago. Fuzz541 08-18-2005, 07:21 PM The first Impreza 2.5i just arrived today at Twin City in Montpelier, VT. They've had Benigns and Forest R's for a long time, obviously. The Impreza looked good, but not great IMHO. I'm sure the slightly more aggressive WRX and much more so STi will look better. I am still "meh" on photos of the new body, for some perspective. I did call it a Suzuki to the F&I guy, just to get his goat. AVANTI R5 08-19-2005, 05:54 PM Every dealer in N.E.PA got 2 06 STI's now.I have been checking inventories. They all have the new gray and another color, but can not find any 06 White STi's :mad:,I wanted to trade in my 04 this weekend on a white.I found a black one ,have to check it out tomorrow. There are still some 05's around 2 blues.Black will be PIA right, show dirt all the time,it will look great at the dealer though!! |
