Hey guys, I'm about to buy some JDM STI headlights and I need to know how to change the beam pattern. Any suggestions? Thanks. -Gene

uhh, you mean change it to Left hand drive pattern like its supposed to be?

can you actually do that with these lights? I know you cant with mazda lights, you need to get the headlights from a euro version.

Assuming you're referring to the 04-05 lights and not the bugeyes, I don't think there is anything you can do with them to change the pattern. The bugeye JDMs were projectors and had an internal plate that could be modified, the new style ones are reflectors and the pattern is fixed by the reflector design. That said, I don't know how the pattern on those compares to that of the older JDMs. It may not be as much of an issue but you do want to know for sure before you get the lights.
