yes i pulled out a needle, accidently, while doing the color change tutorial. when he said to be gentle, he really means. anyways i found the part that i needed

it's the speedometer and tachnometer together. does anyone have any experience installing this together? how do the needles work out especially since they can't just be assembled, and since my fuel and temperature gauges are still working, is it possible to just take out the speed/tach without messing with the fuel/temp. thanks in advance.

here (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=821215) is a tutorial I did for inverting the LCD polarity (makes background dark, and numbers lit) and there are a couple of pictures, and an explanation on how to disassemble the gauge assembly. The Tach & Speedo are one unit, and do come apart into a sub-assembly consisting of a molded lexan backing plate, two dial barrels which contain the armatures and magnet cans, then, the dial face, and the needles. It's pretty easy to get to this point, just make sure you pull it straight up, because the barrels connect to the PCB via large pins on the PCB, and you don't want to bend those.

Good Luck.
