We need to show support for these events. I know I'm one to talk?!?...but we are at a huge disadvantage here in Alaska...no big name artists, no drive in theaters, no olive garden. :lol: At the very least we can show others why we need to open up ANWR... ...ppl love to drive here in Alaska! I was thinking today about the gas prices and...no matter how far they go up I'll buy. I spen ~120 a week in gas and ~40 a week in alcho. Everytime they raise it I'm going to drive harder and push more unburnt fuel out of my car to raise the air"quality" in hopes that some day it will get soo bad they give huge tax breaks for ppl that no longer use ...lol ok it's late. Gas prices suck....f***em I'm driving. AKLGT 08-22-2005, 12:00 AM well it was interesting. we'll have to try it out on the 13th or whenever that one is. might be fun. however, we do not have helmets, so i'm assuming you're required to wear one. anyone know where we can get a couple? cheaply? I did not feel like standing in the rain all day with the possibilty of catching a cold. I think most felt the same way because I did stop by later and there was only a handfull of entrants.
