I tried searching this, but couldn't find any postings on it.

I recently bought some smoked corner markers and side oval lights from subydude.com for my 02 wagon.

I was wondering if anyone has had these installed and what they had to do to get the side lights installed. Those would be the ovals that go behind the wheel well, not the corner lights.

Did you have to take your car to a body shop to get the lights installed since cutting into the fender is required? Did you buy JDM fenders? I see a few sedans with the ovals on, so let me know the easiest way to get it done.

I might just use the corner markers and sell the ovals if it is too costly to get them installed. I mainly want to get rid of the ambers.

There are some "how-tos" on here regarding the installation of the sidemarkers. Many have done them with great success. You may want to try a search on "sidemarker install" and see what comes up. Also, have you tried scoobymods.com?

Edit* Found a write-up for ya ;)

Thanks. I found it under side repeater install.

Cutting into one's own fender. I will have to think about that one for a while.

It seems possible given the instructions and template, but still sketchy if you have never done anything like it.
