I just wanted to post a quickie about my experiences at TY Subaru, where I bought my RBP WRX. Let me just say, what a great experience.
My salesman, Dean, was great. A knowlagable scooby fan who provided me with a no pressure fair deal, when other dealers were telling me I would not be able to buy one for under MSRP. They even went out of their way to accquire just the model I was looking for.
If you are in the area and looking for a Subaru, I don't think you can be dissapointed with Ty Subaru.

Ditto on Dean.
But,
1) They have really poor loaner cars. I'd be happy with a non-smelly loaner that didn't pull to one side and squeal when you braked. And, having a Subaru as a loaner would be a plus.
2) Their service guys are kinda not tactful. This sealed it for me, actually: my wife called to check on my car, and the service guy asked, "is it your car or your husband's." D'OH. Seriously a bad move for a married guy who shares all things with his wife--it's OUR car.
Another example, four months after getting the car, my windshield cracked. On a day when the car wasn't driven. I called and asked Ty to check it out with a view to replacing the windshield under warranty. They were gruff, but took it. I said, even if it wasn't warrantied (and it was not, go figure) I needed a new one. I arranged to get the car in, dropped it off, took the loaner ... but ... they didn't have a replacement windshield. I wasted a whole day dropping the car off for, apparently, no good reason.
3) I get coupon discounts for service at another dealer; even oil changes there are cheaper (Parkway Subaru). And, it's closer, so I can get my oil changes done on my lunch.
Am looking for mods for Xmas this year. Will checkout Ty for the work, but the rates are high.
Cheers,
Sean
