What happened to your motor? What is the extent of the damage?

you should tear it down and see what went wrong first. if you get rid of the block, i will take it off your hands.

i think you need the kit, because it is rotated, and the uppipe you have will not match up to the exhaust housing on the turbo.

see how it is rotated?

i have to rebuild my motor i cant afford the gt35r kit. i orderd a fp red but i cancelled it beacuse it was with an internal wastegate. i thought to my self if i am going to rebuild my motor i am going to go all out but i just cant buy the kit. i have greddy front mount Helix up pipe and down pipe 800cc PE injectors Greddy E0-1 boost controller and UTEC. my question is should i buy the fp red with out an internal wastegate and then put an tail external wastegate or is it a better turbo out there for me i am looking for at least 450 whp

thank you

you could use your up-pipe, but there is an adaptor that comes with the kit to go on top of the uppipe. that is why you need the kit. you could go with a t-67 it can do 450whp

http://www.jscspeed.com/wrx/turbo/greddy_t67.htm

its cheaper than a 35 kit, but isn't ball bearing.

IMHO you're usually going to want a kit if available, unless you have crazy fab skills alot of patience and no life
