Ultimate Racing Upipe for External Wastegate: this up-pipe allows for easy installation of a TiAL external wastegate onto your WRX and STi. For those running 20G's, Greens, or larger, this the piece you need!! We offer this unit with or without your choice of a 38mm or 44mm wastegate. We offer them in 2 basic flavors - one to suit a bellmouth or divorced tube style downpipe (Invidia, Helix, Bosal), and one to suit 3 inch bellmouth style downpipes (HKS, DC Sports, etc.). It will NOT fit with a Turbo XS downpipe as the downpipe mouth is simply too large. This is only designed to work with headers that have a standard 2 bolt flange at the up-pipe. It will not work with a GT Spec header.

I'm sooooooo close to getting the Helix catted downpipe (as I'm looking for something a little quieter than catless & I really don't hate the environment). How's the sound on it? I'd be mounting it up to a Greddy Evo. Also how is it for CELs? Does it come with the fix?

will be very nice mated to the Greddy exhaust. CEL's tend to be car dependant - some get them, some don't. CEL fix is not included

OK just measured the RM01A we have here - it is in fact a USDM length so will mate to a USDM downpipe

I know it fits my Invidia DP but I thought that this up-pipe w/EWG FIT the GT spec header?? Now they don't?? Arent these the same kits as UR?? :confused:

no it will not fit the GT Spec header as the GT Spec header has a 3 bolt flange at the manifold side. The only way to get an Ultimate Racing up-pipe to fit the GT Spec header is to buy one of Ultimate's GT30 or GT35 turbo kits.

all depends on the lowest boost level you want to run. For anything under 20 psi, I'd go for the 44mm

how much on the cusco header and does it have a 2 bolt uppipe flange?

burnin4 - it will work with stock bolt on turbos, not a 35R. For the 35R, we offer Ultimate's GT series setup kit, which is on our site here:

This kit includes a 3" Stainless Steel downpipe flanged for the GT35, Up-Pipe, Stainless Steel Dump Pipe, 3” Cold Air Intake w/ K&N Filter, Lines, Fittings, Clamps, etc. We can package this with a wastegate for you for an additional cost
