I picked up this Tribeca last night. I will start by saying that I am really really impressed. The car is surprisingly quick off the line.
I absolutely love the interior layout. Everything is where it should be. The only complaint that I have are that the seats are not very supportive. The seats are very shallow both in the seat and the back. I love the lumbar support.
The GPS is easy to operate and very accurate.

The Tribeca is powerful, comfortable, unique and very well thought out.
I was so surprised because I have spent a good amount of time behind the wheel of a BMW X5. The X5 had better handling and was better looking but I like everthing else about the Tribeca more.

So a few people have asked me if I would trade in my STi for the Tribeca.
My answer is.......

Yes...
I would only trade if my lifestyle changed meaning if I had kids or just wanted a vehicle with cargo room. I wouldn't be too upset if I had to make the swap.

I thought it was nice but lacked power compared to many other SUVs. Give it another 50hp and its kosher. Interior was nice, but the GPS doesnt compare to Lexus's (I think theirs is Delphi)

I actually thought the power was what is should be for that type of vehicle.
I haven't had any experience with the Lexus GPS but the subaru one was very accurate. If it wasn't for the premium gas requirement and the poor gas mileage I would have bought one.

I've said it before, the real kicker for our money will be the H6XT (turbocharged flat six engine). I'll be buying one when my FXT hits 100,000 miles!
