Best bang for the buck mod you can do on your Subie! No loss of low end, great top end, and it sound sweet at WOT. That, and Larry is a great guy to deal with, have yet to hear anything bad about him OR his products. Highly recommended.

does he have any applications for a 98 GT? i went to search and only could find a kit for 00-01 :(

Nothing yet, although he's supposed to be in developement on an intake for the MAF-equiped cars. He had some problems with suppliers and machinists, I think it was, but don't know when it's going to be available. You could try e-mailing him, he's really good about answering that stuff. Hopefully, it will be soon, 'cause I know there's a big demand for that application; too bad the MAF is so fragile:(

Now that the heat is down to the 80's finally (here in misery...oh..I mean Misouri) I find that with the hood scoop opened and the hood vents dropped tht the CAI actually stays Cold! as a matter of fact, the tube part closest to the fender is very cold and the back of the air box is also very cold. It's the tubeing in between that is warm. I am thinking of getting some of that bubblewrap heatshielding from home depot and wrap up the tube.....

I put self-adhesive foil-backed foam insulation on mine. Seems to work pretty well.

Somebody posted awhile back, that they used cold cups,koozies,whatever punch out the bottom and they slip on.Guess ya mite need 4 or 5,,i may try that.

G-Tech numbers, but haven't been to the drag strip yet for official numbers. I have the GanzFlow CAI, K&N panel filter, and a Stromung dual-tip axle-back exhaust. My 0-60 time is 7.1 sec, and 1/4 mile is 15.5 sec @ 90.7 mph. Remeber, G-Tech numbers, but there are my averages from many runs of both measurements. Hope this helps!

my inital thoughts on the gans flow was it was great... though my current thoughs aren't as high. The intake is better than stock, but I don't personally feel it's worth the $100. This is just my opinion, but I'm pretty sure you can get the parts required to build your own v3 (previous gen) gans flow from home depo. When I have the money, yes it will be alot more... I'm going to buy a cobb intake.

m750, the Cobb isn't that much better. I actually liked the Ganzflow better, not that it was that much of an improvement to begin with. Now after getting rid of the Stromung catback and the Cobb, the car feels better and easier to drive(stock). I can't say it is faster, but it definately feels faster.

If you want to get a cheaper alternative, PDM Racing sells one for $50. At least this seems more reasonable. Why is a metal pipe so expensive? I'm in the wrong business, a mandrel bending machine shouldn't cost more a than few thousand or I can lease one.
