Nice to see some RS 1/4 mile times. How hot was it that evening during your runs? If you want to cut ~0.5 seconds off of your time, next time out remove your speakers, spare tire & tools and any other excess weight from your car. The speakers and spare tire alone could easily add almost 100lbs to the weight of your car.

Oooo! Yeah, these could hurt the times. Thanks for posting though. You don't see to many 2.5RS 1/4 mile times being posted up. People should share this information and feed off of each other on what works and what doesn't.

I can post mine, but is a 2000 GC8 2.0R NA AUTO, not an RS, but my quarter is less than yours. It would be interesting to see the car run stock without the extra weight.

60ft is based on the launch right? how much does brake torquing hurt the 4EAT?

that 60ft does seem kind of slow. ur AWD, hes FWD. i think ur car has a 2.2 in it.

2.5L ?

LOL I think he means 2.2 Seconds. Try to brake torque you car prior to launch, get the tach up to 4k rpm at least and just floor it and let up the brake. I do it in rental cars all the time!

Definitely nice to see some times for us RS folk posted. Our track opens this coming weekend (was bulldozed in spring, new facility been in the works all summer) but I won't be able to make it. Hoping to make it to the test n tune the following weekend though.
