View Full Version : My car sags and I hate it!!!!! lostsoulmusic 08-28-2005, 03:35 PM My '97 Impreza L Sedan sags in the rear at least 2" or more and it drives me nuts.I had my local Subaru dealer replaced the rear springs and still the car sags.I dont have much of anything of weight in the trunk area besides a small tool kit,but nothing heavy. Anyway, the GC imprezas usually lower a bit more in the back for better weight balance, but it should definetly not be 2in! Do you have aftermarket suspension? You could look into getting the SPT springs which only lower your car about an inch, and that should make them a bit more even. lostsoulmusic 08-28-2005, 03:50 PM I am using the stock rear.the only change is when I had the dealer replace the rear springs, but it did't help either. :( svek 08-28-2005, 05:08 PM same thing with my 99 L. the gap in the wheel well is much smaller in the rear than the front. get sti pinks, prodrive, or spt springs that should be ok. might also want to look into new struts.
