My '97 Impreza L Sedan sags in the rear at least 2" or more and it drives me nuts.I had my local Subaru dealer replaced the rear springs and still the car sags.I dont have much of anything of weight in the trunk area besides a small tool kit,but nothing heavy. The other local Subies don't seem to have this problem???Please help

You might want to post in the suspension section. Anyway, the GC imprezas usually lower a bit more in the back for better weight balance, but it should definetly not be 2in! Do you have aftermarket suspension? You could look into getting the SPT springs which only lower your car about an inch, and that should make them a bit more even.

I am using the stock rear.the only change is when I had the dealer replace the rear springs, but it did't help either. :(
same thing with my 99 L. the gap in the wheel well is much smaller in the rear than the front. get sti pinks, prodrive, or spt springs that should be ok. might also want to look into new struts.

I would be replacing your struts. They are probably blown or worn out.

i too had this issue, but after doing three spring swaps, first had intrex, then eibach, then i got the Perrin's, with every spring except the perrins i had sagging issues, with the perrins the problem was fixed and had no issues, i am also running KYB AGX struts too if that helps any,

I've heard pretty much nothing but good things about the Perrins as well. Good luck.
I'd check the suspension forum, but this seems as this might be normal.
