(1) Is it necessary to remove the valve rocker assemblies in order to remove the Camshaft Caps ? Or can the Camshaft Caps be removed with the rocker assemblies intact ?
(2) I don't have the Camshaft Sprocket tools or the Crankshaft socket tools that the FSM calls out for timing belt removal. Question: Can I simply re-install these gears/sprockets with an impact wrench set on the low setting ? Or do I need to get a buddy and run a cheater bar ?
(NOTE: I recently did a timing belt install on this same car (w/o consulting the FSM....and I did not tighten to torque specifications. I simply reinstalled with my impact wrench. Could I have damaged something internally ? )
