View Full Version : IAC hook up? 2.2 harness(3prong)2.5 iac(6prong) farrell 08-29-2005, 09:49 PM i have a 98 impreza L(2.2L). i have a 2.5L engine swapped in. i still have the 2.2 ecu and harness. running 2.5 engine. the IAC on the 2.5 is a 6 prong, but the 2.2 harness is a 3 prong plug. does ne one know how to hook them together without changing the ecu?(that would be the obvious most expensive way) Kostamojen 08-29-2005, 10:18 PM Is the 2.2 IAC on the throttle body or on the intake manifold? farrell 08-29-2005, 10:45 PM throtle body tzedek 08-29-2005, 11:29 PM use the 2.2 TB, you may have to make a shim for it. farrell 08-29-2005, 11:51 PM dont have the 2.2L throttle body. and cannot find the one i need. The IAC is on the TB, 3-wire and its the same bolt pattern as a 2.2. |
