i have a 97 obs auto. i have a parts car, 95 1.8 wagon with a manual transmission. i know my car has a final drive of 4.11, and the wagon has a final drive of 3.90. is there any possible way for me to swap the tranny over, ie, also swap the front, center, and rear differentials over also? im planning to do the swap myself and a friend who is a mechanic, but he is not familiar with working on subaru's. i have tried searching this forum and other forums but couldn't find the answer to my problem. Is there an extensive write up for this conversion? is there anything else i need to swap over to make this tranny swap easier. if you have any info for me, that would be great, please help.
