Well after a few weeks of bitching about my tranny and having trouble to get it into the shop for them to fix it. They installed a brand new 5 speed in it today. I had the wonderful 4th gear grind which turned into 4th and 5th gear grind so instead of them trying to waste time rebuilding it the dealer gave me a brand new one. Its so nice to drive it and not have to worry about it breaking now.

You're lucky to have had it that easy. You've been given a new lease on life. Go easy on it from here....

Congratz, not always that a dealer drops in a new tranny!

I got a new tranny for the same reason.. Dont be suprised if it comes back. Mine did.. than 3rd gear went.. Now Im waiting on the RA's. You might want to break the new tranny in and than use unclescottys tranny potion.

well i have been taking it easy on it but it seems to be leaking gear oil from the front driverside axle seal. But i checked the fluid tonite and its still about the full level. I am going to call the dealer in the morning and see if i can get it checked out tomorrow. Other then that im not use to driving without the 4th and 5th gear grinding. its kinda nice and i dont need the radio up so loud now lol

the tranny seemed to stop leaking oil for now. but i am still taking it back to have it checked
