I got my car back from the stealership after having the tranny worked on. And now when im in gear and get off the gas (decelerate) i hear the ****ing grinding, knocking, ticking noise. What the hell is it? Im taking the car back tomorrow. I test drove the car a few weeks ago and heard something like that but figured it was nothing. I want to know what this is. It cost me way too much money to get the car back and for it not to be right! Any input as to what it could be will be appreciated

So i had it fixed. I hear the noise in 3rd, 4th, and 5th. It's really rappid in 5th when im not on the gas and am just coasting to a stop or something. It sounds like something is in there knocking around, i can even feel a slight corresponding thump in my shifter.

Get it back into the shop. If you've got thumps and loud noises that's not good.
