I'm putting a linkplus ecu in my ej22t/98RS and I'm all set execpt for the IAC.
The link system has seperate wires for 4 different IACs while the 98 RS ecu only has a "open" and "closed" set.
Any ideas on how to wire this up?
this is the devorced IAC right?
its a stepper motor it should be the same wiring as a ej20G.. the link+ should be able to drive it
is this mcdade's car?

I don't think it is a stepper motor as 00rs is and it has 4 wires coming out of it (step a-d)
this one only has the two connections. http://www.ravensblade-impreza.com/modifications/misc/wiring/my982.gif
and yes, this WAS mcdades car:) now mine
that diagram is for the 98 throttel body - useless...does this car have the plug n play link plus kit.. which is designed for the throttel body IAC
you need to rewire it to work with the ej22t IAC (4 wire) the link should do this but not in plugn play fasion...

i actually got it. I went through the manual and it states:
3.15.2 Solenoid
There are 2 pins dedicated to control either a 2 or 3 terminal idle speed
control (ISC) solenoid. Figure 3.32(a) is a 2 terminal, part (b) is a 3 terminal
solenoid.
ISCO (idle speed control open) – ORANGE/GREEN
ISCC (idle speed control closed) – ORANGE/BLUE
If i'm not mistaken, this is what I'm looking for.
This link is NOT the plug and play one, it is the wire in version. I have the whole harness labled with which pin it needs to go to, it is just a matter of wiring it up now.
I think that was the only question I had though, I was worried about that but the manual seemed to help (who would have thought:) )
btw, if I'm totally off..laugh at me.
ha-ha!

i feel sooo much better now
