Will an 01 RS power steering pump fit on a 94 L? Would I have to change over all of the lines? Would be way easier to just go buy a new pump?

It should work. i have an 01rs engine in my 95L using the RS powersteering pump and lines going down to the rack.. So i see no reason why it wouldn't work on the stock engine, minus possible mounting points.

I should just throw in the RS engine I have right?

When I swapped an 01RS 2.5 into my 96L impreza I used the RS pump. I had to use the fluid line fittings from the old pump in order to use the old lines with the new pump. You’ll see if you put the two pumps next to each other.

Really? huh, maybe they changed it in 96. Or was it a 2.2l that you swapped out?

Any yeah, you mine as well just throw the rs engine in there.. Its fun, and cheap and easy to do.

All I have is the shortblock with a cracked piston. I can get a piston from my stealership for free.
