View Full Version : CBRD- opening a new large facility
CBRDSpeedfactory 09-03-2005, 09:09 PM well guys, wanted to let u know, especially the northeasterner's....
the CBRD- Speed Factory
we are moving into a facility (from our now 2 bay and mostly online status)...
we will have 3 lifts, a mustang dyno, mounting and balancing (roadforce hunter) and lots of other bells and whistles...
we will have a playstation game room, and 2 car showroom also.....
I am working on the exact timeframe right now, but at the latest, spring of '06.... we are meeting again with the construction company this week.
We will be working in conjunction with RaceComp, to do tuning/installs (what myles can't handle)... and will be carrying products from the likes of Kingpin (rotated mount, since we dropped our own) and many others. We will also have all of our own products that we have been working on, oil lines, custom pieces, and our long awaited water/air intercooler.
We have our current 2005 STi project car, which is being completed shortly.... motor built my Axis Power (thanks to Ron)... and a rotated mount kit from Kingpin Performance (thanks to Mike)..... many thanks to the others too...
Rays Engineering
TurboXS
Kartboy
Stoptech
Bridgestone
RaceComp
etc....
Our other 2005 EVO MR is also almost completed with a custom GT35R turbo kit, built head, and other bits
same companies are participating on this vehicle, with the addition of Gruppe-S, thanks to Tom and Preston.
I will keep you all informed, and I hope we can serve everyone with the upmost class and consistency.
Many Good things to come
Cheers

CBRDSpeedfactory 09-05-2005, 02:20 PM tom,
lol, sorry that car has been driving me nuts...we got it all back together (built head, cams etc) and the custom SPEC clutch was wrong, in one dimension or another. So we now have to take it apart and put another clutch in it.
Anyone that has done these, knows they arent easy!!!!
ill get it out to u as soon as i can, i just want to get the car running and make sure it works....then the GT35R goes on.

Dunno, you haven't sworn the oath yet! And there won't be another full moon to do so for a bit, plus you have to get your "momentum tatoo".....

We are very excited to be working along side CBRD. We like the thought of having Chad do some shake downs and share our track shop when he test some LMP-2 (cough) SPyder's.....cough.....
Knowing and seeing his prior projects with Audi and getting to know his dad earlier this year, we know the association will be beneficial to both parties.

CBRDSpeedfactory 09-11-2005, 09:24 PM lol!!
thanks guys...
especially to the kingpin gang, and myles from RCE...
there are many places i feel would be better "prime" locations than york, pa, but i think if we have an exciting proper facility and take care of our clients, then people will come....
especially with a strong backbone and support from other succesful companies in this busines, as the one's ive mentioned.
cheers
