Port Subaru, Roslyn NY

highway robbery,
in April they wanted $2000 over MSRP for their blaze yellow. Salesman told me that the area had money so it will go for that price. I got a test drive out of it though and boy did I test drive it.
Thanks but no thanks I told him after.

SErvice Dept was good, had to stop there one Sat becasue the check engine lite came on and they were the only one open, simple in and out, reset the computer 5 minutes and done.

Service at Port Motors is good. I have not gone to them yet since I put aftermarket wheels on :)

I bought my car from port motors in november of 2003, and as for the sales department i had no problems, my salesperson (like therich) was Ray, who was very pleasant and helpful throughout the process.

As for the service department, i went there for my first free oil change, i came out with a big scratch on the bumper, and that was the last time i visited there. My second oil change was at North Coast Subaru, and they seemed very good and unlike port they service subaru's exclusively.

the service there was the worst I have ever experienced. I bought a 04 WRX sedan in 6/03 from them. Price was fine. No complaints there.

At my 5000 mile oil change, THEY DRAINED THE OIL THEN DID NOT REPLACE IT. they also denied doing it.

At 13000 miles, durring an oil change they said my cpu needed to be reflashed, so it would have to be sent out to SOA in Cherry Hill, NJ. After a week, i was told the chip was sent to the wrong address (sales side) and was sitting in the break room. When I called the sales manager to confirm that my car was ready, I was told that the cpu was never sent out because they could not replicate the bad code. So, my car sat there for a week, but more importantly, I was lied to.

When my car recieved its NY state inspection sticker, they removed the old one. In the process, my dashboard/collumn was slashed with a razor blade and covered in pieces of sticker that they did not even attempt to clean.

i will never, ever go back to them. i would rather drive an extra 100 miles than go back to them.
