I'm pretty handy with a wrench. But wires, speakers, door panels...run and hide!!!!

Thanks to all who posted helpful hints on removing the door panels (leave that trim alone, it will pop off by itself), what speaker sizes work, etc. It gave me confidence to install new front speakers (Pioneer 1655, no spacer required), then new rears (4 inch Polks). This was my first venture into the stereo world, and now I must have MORE!

yeah i tried the "don't remove the trim ring it'll come off on its own" trick the other day and it turned out to be MUCH easier than taking it off first.
