yeah man, come on already with the new body style crap. Guilio, we all know your a ricer (cross drilled tail lights) but come on already.
I'm actually happy that it looks different..although I did like the "concept" pix that we saw before a bit more, I'm really happy with the way my car looks (and MOVES! ).
If I had the old body style, I wouldn't want people confusing my car with one of those SLOW 2.5rs!! (HA! lets see how u like beochs:) )

I'm not elitest. I love the old Impreza and I'm not telling anyone not to. I'm just sick of the "your car looks like a neon" or whatever. All the people that are unwilling to accept the new style and bash it are the elitests.

I like subaru's plain and simple. If I had my choice, I wouldn't be driving a WRX...I'd have a B4. The Legacy body style is my fav.

Now that red one is SOLID! I personaly think that out of the box, the old body style looks better. HOWEVER, when you put a proper wing, suspension, wheels, and headlights on the new body style cars, they are super cool! I'd rather have that red one than any old body style car!

I love the old style but the new style looks so sweet w/ a nice body kit on there . . . i am not a huge fan of the new style stock but hey you cant complain, its still a bad ass car.

giulio, did you just notice that the new body style Impreza is out? It's been out for monthes... I like the older generation body style too, which is why I have an 01RS instead of an 02WRX. There's nothing you can do about it, but I think Subaru is going to change the bodystyle soon. The design isn't liked much overseas either from what I read. I doubt this new age bodystyle will last as long as the first generation one did.

i saw that pic of the blue -01 rs and was awe struck. its prob the most beautious one i ever seen. the first thought in my head was 'this is so much hotter than the 02'.

They changed the body style because it was more than 7 years old!

i'm just a regular person, vendor status is just so i can post in the vendor forum. what i sell is a hobby, not my bread and butter. and even if it were my 'job' i would not have said anything different.
i simply expressed my admiration for the -01 and dislike of the 02... and some people jumped all over me. I'm a very polite respectful person and expect the same from others... maybe i shouldn't.

if u notice, alot of tha import car companies are moving away from the "boy racer" look into a more sophisticated, grown-up look for their sport cars(Subaru and Mitsubishi come to mind). maybe some of us havent "grown up" yet? :p i know i havent :lol: since i prefer the older body style. but hey, what can u do? just be glad we even got the WRX!!
