Has anyone else noticed the clip on the lid of the armrest extension? I found it the other day and it is a great place to hold my i-club business cards :)

Maybe it was originally put there for drivers license and registration for quick access when getting pulled over for doing 90 in a 40 :lol: (no, this hasn't happened to me)

Gee I never thought about it being for your registration...

I keep a pad of paper there and a pencil in the top compartment with it to mark gas mileage when I fill up.

Maybe it's a secret stash for your big fat wad of extra cash!

Has anyone actually asked a dealer what that clip is for? It has been driving me nuts. I looks like something specific goes there.

In Japan they have cards that they give you when you go through the toll booths on the expressways (all from what I understand) and this is a convienent place to put it so that when you get off, you can find it and pay the proper amount of toll (rather then the maximum, I suppose).

whatever it's for it holds my insurance card and SCCA Memebership card nicely
