Hey, i am trying to convince my grandma instead of buying a jetta wagon to get a subaru wagon. I dont know much abotu the wagons though, Is the impreza TS the same as a sedan RS? and why are the outbacks SOOOO much more money? its about 3g's more... i will sometimes drive the car toOo, and of coarse i might mod it, get grams an intake, ha ha, But what is a good place to find teh specs.. www.subaru.com didnt help me out that much.. is there a good website ro refer too? it seems teh TS is almost the same as the outback sport wagon, i dunno, thats just me.. somone reply....

If she needs a larger wagon she'll want the Outback. If she wants a smaller wagon, she'll want either the TS or the Outback Sport. They are almost the same with the Outback Sport being more expensive and having a lot of extras added. It also has 16" wheels whereas the TS has 15" wheels. Engines are the same for the Outback Sport and TS though.

This is just off the top of my head, so I might miss something, but I believe the Outback Sport has the following extras:
16" alloy wheels
fog lights
heated side mirrors/seats
two-tone paint (the lower color is thicker and more chip-resistant)
mud guards
rear bumper protector
cargo area protective mat
slightly higher ground clearance
cross-bars for roof rack
"heavy duty" suspension
The TS is a sport wagon like the Outback Sport. In the really important areas (body, engine) yes, they are the same. Aside from the paint, the OBS is just a very nice options package. Does that help?

Get her the Legacy wagon, Much sweeter, handles better, less expensive(compared to OB) etc. etc......
Also try edmunds.com for info-I think its the best car site on the web.

The reason OBs are more expensive-they gotta pay Dundee:lol:
