Hi everyone! Sorry if this is a repost for the MidWest folk, just getting antsy and excited because I just got the call from my dealer (Hodges in Ferndale, MI) that my car is in! I called my bank and the loan is all set as well!

My car is a Silver WRX sedan. No options except for the Air Filtration system. Transfering my empeg player and doing a little soundproofing to the floorboards will be my first mod...

I have some basic new car questions:

1. The lease on my Ford Focus isn't up for another 3 weeks, will I be able to transfer plates now? Or do I need new plates?
2. Is 6.75% fixed a good interest rate?
3. Anything I should have in mind when I pick this thing up on Monday?

Now for the dreaded call to insurance...

You will probably have to turn the focus in early if you want to transfer plates. Rate sounds good, nothing to worry about except how boring the first 1000 miles will be.

Transferring the plates would be depending on your state. I don't think that you keep your old ones in every state (in TX we get new ones unless they are personalized).

6.75 is pretty good. I got 6.35 two weeks ago for mine (blue WRX wagon) from my credit union.

Apart from that, just remember your break-in period.

I guess I will jsut go with new plates.... sounds easiest.

I was actually approved for 7.0% apr, but if I agree to auto withdrawl, they drop it .25%.... not bad!
