Nick, i would be very interested in one if they didnt have a cloth top.
Would it b very difficult if the next batch had a textures plastic coating, or used a 3M Percise Mousing Surface top?
If we could get that, it would be excelant.
Most of the people i know, including myself, dont liek the clotch becuase it gunks our mouse balls up.
Anyway, when/if you make more, if there is an option to do that (even if it costs a bit more), it would be nice.
Thanks.

mouse balls? People still use mice that have balls? http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/tongue.gif Don't they all run off "laser eyes" now? http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif

Hehe, yeah i use an old school Logitech MouseMan+ 3 button. Its a classic mouse, you know, the small seat dropped shapped one, not those ugly wavey things they have now.
Anyway, i think tis the best mouse ever made, and its a shame that they discontinued it. They remade it as the Logitech WingMan Gaming mouse, and it sold REALLY well, and got GREAT reviews, and now they are gone too. Plus i do alot of FPS gaming, and an opticle mouse just does not track smoothly, or accuratly enough to handle fast short movements.
Now for everyday use i LOVE opticle mice, no maintenance, and they work very smooth. But for gaming, it just doesnt work. When i go to LAN parties most people will have a two mouse combo, a USB opticle, and a PS2 ball mouse.
Somthing else i think i should point out is that an opticle mouse will not work on a white surface. Everglide had to redo their mouse pads in blue and black becuase an opticle mouse could not track on it. Too much reflection. And the CCD cant track the patern. So far the best opticle mousing surface ive found is the 3M Percise Mousing Surface. It has a tight repeated grid surface, which the opticle mice love.
So be warned the new i-Club mouse surface may not work perfectly with your opticle mouse.
But buy one anyway, cause you know you want to. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif
Pic is up in the vendor forum if anyones interested.
And the pad works fine with my laser mouse... IntelliMouse Explorer USB... which has a laser... maybe it's higher quality or something, but it works fine for me.
Because it's the cloth material I think it has enough texture to it so that laser mice work alright.

I'm still using my Logitech mouse circa 1994. I love it. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif
I've got a intellieye mouse at work and it's ok, but I hardly notice a difference.
I have an infrared mouse at work....So when I buy one of these mousepads I'm just gonna bring it in to work and use it there http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif
Hmmm... cold dead hands... I think I could 'arrange' that! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif
