Well I had my Sti on the stage 1 map for a few days to see how it drove. It pulled nicely, wasn't streakingly faster, but you could tell. So I figured I'd use the AP feature of "Read live boost." I had my friend look at it while I accelerated at WOT in each gear. Then tonight, we did the run again but on stage 2. The car feels noticeably better, it felt more smooth. I don't know how to explain it other than it felt like it ran better. It did feel a little faster and it pulled strong. Both days the car had been sitting for atleast 8hrs.

Note: My friend could have missed something, I don't know how easy it was to tell the peak boost since I didn't watch it, but I think these numbers should be pretty accurate

___ Stage 1 ___ Stage 2
1st _ 13.2psi __ 12.4psi
2nd _ 13.7psi __ 16psi
3rd _ 14.7psi __ 16.3psi
4th _ 14psi ___ 15psi
5th _ 14psi
6th _ 14.8psi

Also note: The 5th and 6th gear runs on stage 1 may be low because obviously I didn't have a place to run it 130mph+

So to recap, these numbers could be off, they could be way off, but assuming the AP live boost thing is accurate and my friend did a good job, they should be fairly representative.

Engine Mods:
TXS downpipe
TXS highflow cat
TXS cat back exhaust
Intake silencer delete
Cobb AP Stage 2 93oct v1.03

So basically there was no real point to this thread. Maybe i'm an idiot, but since went to the trouble of doing this, I figured I'd share :disco:

Nice topic. I've got stage 1 loaded and I've been meaning to do this. It's kinda weird that you jumped so high from 1st to 2nd gear in boost for stage 2. Is that how Cobb has their map set up? Anyone know what the stock psi numbers are......for a wrx?

Yeh it was quite a jump, bigger than stage 1. But this very well could have been from a number of other factors (my friend), not cobbs' map set up. Who knows
