Ordered a "Subaru Specific" kit from MRT a while ago (mistake #1)

Assumed the kit has all of the bits (mistake #2)

the kit is missing pieces....
not only that, but the mounting rings dont work w/the RS
not even sure I will mount/install this kit

Regardless,
I'm missing a connector/bulb holder.

Any idea who can sort Cibie driving light parts?
i've searched - but most links are dead or companies are O.O.Business
I've google'd myself silly but am not really getting anywhere.

looking for H1 connector/bulb holders:

Check w/ Daniel Stern, http://www.danielsternlighting.com; if you have any trouble getting ahold of him lemme know: I've got a couple of #s I can dig up.

Which car are you thinking of putting them on? If you put those things on the RS you'll probably drop 20mph off the top end, not to mention overheating due to radiator blockage

hate that guy.

he never gets back to me.
never returns emails.

i guess i'll try him but i have found em to be a waste of time.

and yep. these would be for the RS
although i'm likely not going with the 130watt bulbs that were included

Have you tried suvlights.com? It seems like they carry a lot of harness, I'm just not sure about the bulb holders. You can always ask though. Good luck, Jaime!

I'll check it out... i'm about desperate at this point.

if i dont find this piece, i've got a completely worthless $300 driving light kit.

I've had really goodluck dealing with Aardvark international (http://www.aardvarkintl.com/)in the past. I have Cibies on all the Triumphs and I purchased from these guys. They might be able to help you out; any time I have called I ended up talking with the owner on first try.

What did I tell ya, Jamie? Those guys, or guy, at Arrdvark Intl. get all my business for Cibie headlamps, I have yet to be disappointed. I just like the fact that I always get the owner at the end of the line and not some sad parts guy that doesn't particularly care.

I wish I had some Oscars, but I have a Triumph Herald that needs headlamps first.

well i wish these were really 'made for' my car

they claim they are
but the install brackets are wrong
unit needs spacers
it's missing parts

going to be a lot of work to install.
i'm still debating.

thanks again for the heads up!
