I will post pics when i get a chance but I just traded my 02 silver wrx in for an 05 blue sti about a week ago. I have been here for about 6 months (from Illinois) and am looking forward to hooking up with some of you guys on thursdays. Which shops are the need to know guys here in arizona (phoenix area)? When i was in IL i had access to a shop with plenty of tools and room and would do mostly all my own wrenching/modding. Out here for now I am pretty much confined to an apartment so I will probably be forking out so money on Labor for some work on my new STI (as much as it pains me to do so).


Anyways don't want to ramble on just wanted to drop in and say whats up to all the subby peeps here in AZ!

Welcome. There is a good FAQ regional section at the top of the Southwest forum. If you are really into Suby tuning, which it sounds like you are, you came to the right place. There is also a fairly active racing scene here, with AutoX, NASA HDPE, and lots of other stuff it that's what you are into.

Wicked, yeah I have done some business with Rich up a dyno comp, and plan on doing more. Also I have done business with vivid, if I had to choose between the 2 for any kind of installs I would pick dyno comp hands down from what I have seen so far.

Vivid is only good for those days when you need a part at that very moment, and they just happen to have it in stock, and can pick it up yourself to examine it first. Unfortunately, I've had to do this.
