Those have been sold and I bought the Gram Lights 57Pro with that money. Good thing is that it's pretty much the same specs as stock (even weight), but just a different look.

I would sell them the same price as I bought them for and I am throwing in a set of r-compounds in the process to "make up" for the "more-used" rims.

yea, the offset is just a bit high, and the tires are just way too big for your wagon.. a 225/45/17 tire with rolled fenders will work, but it's a tight fit.

Btw, this also works on some of the VW Jettas, so spread the word..

Get them really hot and dont let your foot off the throttle.. if you need to turn, just lift a little and don't brake, DRIFT them to get them hot.

depends on what you want to do with the wheels.. as for the hubcentric rings, I can order them for you as soon as I get the ID bore size for that rim which I am clueless..

As for the lugs, you can get some chamfered lugs and you'll be fine.. I ran out of tuner lugs right now and some of the tuner lug sets I have are missing 1 or 2 lugs per set :furious: I blame Trueday for not checking his lugs properly with a torque wrench.

you need some really stiff shocks and a smaller tire like 215/35/18.
if you see the white GM6 in the picture, thats a 225/45/18 with a 45mm offset. it rubs a bit. the R-1's are 42mm offset so it may stick out slightly. agree keefe?

Keefe test fitted the rims on the car... it just needs some non R-comp tires and probably another less narrow tire size to prevent rubbing. I have a pic of it somewhere on the white Racecomp 2.5GC8 RS with stock suspension.

The RS with the TZ10 wheels doesnt have any fitment issues other than the tire being a little too wide at 225/40/18 when making u-turns.

Either Keefe or I will post up a picture with them soon, and I just dropped the price on them just now to $700.

This should clear Brembos without a problem and since this rim is dual-drilled, it can fit on 2005 and 2004 WRXs and STi's. It's a 42mm offset (every mm counts). I can do a test fit just to make sure before you purchase them from me.

I have a pic at home showing a 2005 Legacy GT brake clearance from a 2-piston front caliper. I can only imagine that the clearing for the Brembos should work.

You will need tuner lugs for this rim.

That's fine, just roll your rear fenders.. in that picture, I didnt roll the fenders (but NOW I did and it's fine).. if you need to roll your fenders, I can do it for a small fee as well.. just bring some touch up paint with you just in case.. I can't garantee about paint cracking or not.

They are already rolled because with -1deg in the rear, I could make stock 205/55/16 S-03's rub =P

Truth be told, as much as I liked them on your car, I don't like them on a white GC :(

No, wasn't from sidewall flex. I could rub just by putting weight on the rear end of the car w/o it even moving.


Payam: any alignment I ever got on stock always came out to be -1.5 in the rear for each side. Since I put the suspension on, it's only -1 per side now. *shrug*

i believe we still got 2 sets of stock wrx wheels. the wheels are both in good shape. one set has been probably ridden approx 1k miles. the other set has probably been ridden on somewhere in the range of 5k-7k miles.

those privats should fit fine on your 02 sedan. i had them test fit on my 02RS sedan and it didnt rub at all. i also have tein springs. you may want to consider gettin your rear fenders rolled though. keefe should be back in town tonight to give exact responses.

i believe we still got 2 sets of stock wrx wheels. the wheels are both in good shape. one set has been probably ridden approx 1k miles. the other set has probably been ridden on somewhere in the range of 5k-7k miles.

I was going to wait til summer to get my winter wheels/tires off to buy rims but I am interested in those privats... any idea if they'll fit my 02 sedan with stock brakes, it is lowered with tein h springs... I want me some fat tires :cool:


They fit if you roll your rear fender lip (I had those Farhens on my 02 WRX)

Basically there is a little bit of metal that sticks out of the fender that "could" cut into the side wall TREAD of your tire.. if you need a person that will roll your fenders, I can do it for you for a charge of $80 for both rears.. I have the fender roller with me.. I cannot garantee if the paint will crack or not.. I have thread here that explains me doing some fender rolling on my Subaru Legacy GT to fit the Privats on my car:
