When I look at the Tire Rack website, there are 2 versions of the 18" Superleggeras. The "normal" version, which is $350, and the "lightweight", which is $295.
I couldn't quite find a very good info about the difference b/w the two. Could someone help me out?? pros/cons about normal vs lightweight?
Here is the big question....
My WRX is a daily driver, no racing or auto x... should I get a 17" or 18"??
thanks guys.

Unless you want your daily drive to be blingbling enhanced, there isn't much reason to go with 18" wheels ;)
Your wheels and tires will cost more, your ride may be harsher, you stand a greater chance of damaging your wheels on bad roads, etc. That is the conventional wisdom, at least. My personal opinion is that most 18" wheels look stupid on the WRX, but some people on Nasioc prove that it can be done in a very classy way. Look for images of Hank3's car, for example.
I'm getting 17" inch wheels for spring-fall, and will use my stock 16" wheels for winter.

I agree, 17" rims will most likely suit you better, and they make the Superlegerra's in 17, I know this because my dad has them :)

18" wheels are perfect...why save a few bucks and get an inch smaller. if your worried about damaging your wheels on bad roads and getting a rougher ride, stay with the stockers. don't get me wrong there are 17's that look beautiful, but considering it's not as easy to slam wrx's to fill up wheel gaps, 18's fill em' up much better and look teh sex.

I'd suggest avoiding a "lightweight" SL for street use, but that's just my opinion. I almost got a set of these myself, but decided that a 15 lb. cast wheel (with a $300 replacement cost) was too light for the abuse I expected them to endure.
Here's a couple links to previous discussions which you may find useful (or not). They are both about SL vs. the P1, but just try to ignore the Prodrive stuff:
