Hello,

We wanted to first introduce ourselves so you would know a little bit about us, our background, and our philosophy.

Bill and I are very happy to finally be vendors on this board. We both have been members for a few years now and both active in club events, rallying and racing for some time. We opened this shop in hopes that it would fill a void in the New England area which previously had only a few shops that could support sports car modification beyond common bolt-on changes. As a shop, our strengths are in both our reliability, and creativity. We’re always interested and usually capable of any custom fabrication job, Subaru related or beyond.

Prior to opening this shop, Bill and Alex both worked as technicians. Bill entered the motorsport scene working at SCCA Pro Rallies. After co-driving for a few years in the US and Canadian Championships, he realized his love was in the fabrication and service of race/rally cars and higher spec street cars. In 2004 Bill worked as a tech for Mazda in the Speed World Challenge Series. Bill brings motorsport experience and knowledge to the business.

Alex worked during college at a nearby shop specializing in Lotus and Porsche marques. He helped to complete a ground-up restoration on a 1969 Jaguar E type during his stint there. He has also competed for years in the New England Hill climb championship, Auto-X and Rally-X events and holds a motorcycle race license. Alex worked as a mechanical engineer and lab technician at Boston University Center for Space Physics prior to partnering with Bill to open DSG.

Recently we’ve expanded our team to handle internet orders and more importantly to this forum, to improve our Subaru specific knowledge. Quy and Louis have come aboard, Q brings over 6 years of Honda tuning and car building, recently he’s increased his range to Evolution modification and tuning.

Nate Paykel a member since almost shop inception is studying hard to be a future tuner for our shop once we retain the physical elements necessary to handle that side of service. Nate is our mechanical engineer go-to as well as an expert on turbo efficiency and size calculation.

Louis has been a member here since early 2000 as ‘Soon2Bgreat’. He used to read the special stage boards and then NASIOC after that. He’s been involved with Subaru’s since he can remember. He has built two personal cars. Both were GC8’s with STI swaps and included further modifications. Louis is especially drawn to GC8’s. He’s elated to finally be returning service to a community from which he’s drawn so much knowledge.

Please feel free to PM any of us on this username or our personal ones:

Louis-(Soon2Bgreat)
Alex- (Bimmubishi)
Bill- (use Dentsport)
Nate-(M3GTR)
Quy- (Q-Tune)

with any questions you may have for us. Thanks guys.

'bout time.... I can vouch for these guys. They actually know what they are doing... never thought that was an overall quality you needed to look for, thought that was kind of a given, but with some local shops, it is actually lacking. Not the case here.

Bout' Time.

I was just there!

My experience with DSG, as both a customer and a waste of space shop junkie, has been exceptional. Fantastic service and knowledge beyond your belief (as long as it relates to cars :p )
