make your photos look much, much better by applying "auto-levels" in an image editing software to your original high-resolution images. Then resize and save them for web display. You should be amazed by the time youd done!

oh and about the camera.

if the pics had been taken with my trusty EOS 3 they would have been great but they were taken with my new EOS D30 w/20mm and a polariser and that camera is HELL !

everything i learned in a few years of photography has to be relearned with a different approach to everything. same shutter speed and aperture will NOT give the same results and film speed is, well, not film speed but emulated film speed because there really is no film to be exposed so i'm still coping with that.

the pics suck BIG TIME, they have been adjusted for wite point, balance and contrast in Photoshop and then resized but i had no time to do it properly and guess what... i'm on a laptop with only a 16bit display (like all laptops) because my mean machine of workstation at home is all in pieces since i moved to this country, i have no desk to put it on and the Mrs won't let me install it on the dining table of our loft so... it will be some time before i can edit pics properly, in the mean time if anyone is interested in the RAW 16bit/channel files from the D30 just let me know.

Keiho: I don't have the S3 anymore, i needed 4 doors for work and an A4 is a dog so i went back to a Scoober. I still have my SpeedTriple though http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/wink.gif

This is pretty funny considering Ownly made a post to VWVortex about his S3 compared to a WRX claiming the Subaru interior made him want to puke and the car felt cheap and poorly made.

And now he owns one.

I think I am in love with that car.

I still hate it, i was talking about the new one being worse than the old one (wich i own) plus i still hate the interior in mine and i always hated it in the othe 2000 Impreza i loved in Canada. i intend to spend alot of time and effort to get rid of all creaks and rattles in my car. when you buy an Impreza (or any Jap car) you don't buy a refined car you buy strong and fast mechanics. i felt exactly the same way even before buying my 2000 RS last year and still love this car now.

i NEVER said they were not good cars, Japs just don't have the craftsmanship of Germans when it comes to interiors and finish. a base model Jetta (Bora) is a million time hotter than any Subaru on the interior but does not have the pedigree of a race car. a late RX7 is a rocket but is very cheap compared to a similar German car.

I wasn't flaming you, I was just repeating what you said. Some of the price difference between an S4 and a WRX comes down to the quality of the interior materials. Sure a Jetta has a great interior but the mechanicals are not as sophisticated as the WRX, either.
