hey guys and gals,

Yesterday I asked my girlfriend of almost 2 years to marry me. I am very pleased to say that she said yes. My fiance is definatly not a "car" person but is very accepting of my love for cars ( she even likes the sound of my Blitz catback :) ). Anyway, just telling everyone the good news.

congrats.
25 is a good age to get married. Just be careful with the johnson though. When you get married, one tends to get a bit lax with the "protection". Next thing you know, you're shoving 3 kids in the back of your WRX, and the Forester is looking better everyday.

hello everyone

I popped the question at Lighthouse park in Vancouver. There is a spot on the cliffs over looking the water and mountains that not too many people know about. I asked her if she wanted to go have a picnic that day because the next time there was good weather and we both had the same day off would probably be in spring. She had no idea that I had planned anything other then just the picnic and I'm glad that I surprised her compleatly. My fiance Nicole had to work the next day so I talked to her boss secretly to schedual the next day off for her. Latter that night we stayed in the Hotel Vancouver and ate good food.

thanks for all the replies :)

That's great man. Light house park is nice. Great spot for a proposal and nice move getting her the next day off and spending the night in a nice hotel. Best of luck with your future together.

Way to go George!

Let her co-drive at an auto-x. I did that a couple of weeks ago and my wife had a blast! Of course, she was interested in trying it after watching an event or two; and that after having no interest in it before actually attending an event.

Congrats, you will be receiving your membership form for the UUC in the mail 2 months after you get married. So watch out for that.

Don't worry dude, this is not an off-topic, because once you are married, that is definitely affecting your subie due to many reasons.
