My swap is almost completed and I need some advice about my UTEC map. I have a 2.5 liter swap where I am using modded stock injectors, a VF30, TurboXS TMIC and WRX Heads. I would like to ensure that my fuel map is close enough to at least start on the right foot with road tuning. I chose to use the STI stage 1 fuel map in conjunction with the WRX timing map, retarded two degrees. I am looking for an expert opinion on whether this is a safe point to start.


Also I wonder if anyone has had a problem with idle or maintaining a stoich AFR when the UTEC was not in control. Thanks in advance for the help.
