SO, I opened up my door panels and noticed a couple of major differences from my old car:

1. the door handle/trim piece assembly is SO much harder to take off than the old style 'fragile' trim pieces and makes removing the main panel a bit of a struggle. Reaching the little clips while the door is still on is teh suxorz and they tend to reclip themselves unless you really hold the pieces...it's tough. And you gotta take the door handle off the door...watch the latches don't fall out...lol. yes, experienced.
2. the saab door 'sound deadening is just thin pieces of foam stuck to the plastic water barrier. It's double uped in some places and not in others...I think I've got some pics of that, but otherwise I chucked it already. Gonna use ensolite. Otherwise there was nothing on the door panels to suggest there were different than subaru doors.
3. The speakers are mounted in this hard plastic piece that mounts in the door panel. Was this a change on newer models or just the saabaru? This is where I need your help. Will, my speakers (Kappa 60.7s) fit? Will the 'normal' speaker rings (iaperformance) work? Should I use the plastic ring that comes in the Infinity kit? I don't know if it's the illusion that the door is dished b/c of the plastic mounted speakers OR if there's just more clearance to the door speaker grille. (if that's the case, you could probably make some huge rings and fit some DEEP speakers in there.)
