Me and Joe(Necromancer) are probably going to the Indy next weekend. (Sunday Sept 2nd)

Anyone else want to go?

We will probably be getting General Admission ( no seats) at the gates on Sunday.

Do you know if we can get tickets to visit the area where the pit crew works only? I don't like watching the race there since you only see a few seconds of the car flying by, its better on TV. Plus I want a helmet! :D j/k

When I woke up this morning was hearing the sound of 10000rpm methanol engines in my head. Suh-weet!

The ticket prices are rather steep though. Anybody have any ideas for getting a peek for cheaper? Terry and I were toying with the idea of getting an i-Club hotel room :eek: if there is one with visibility of the race.

Maybe a minimeet wouldnt be such a bad idea. I checked today, there are no hotels near by, and like Avenger said, you can barely see anything with General tickets.

So what do you guys think? Mini meet on Sunday morning or afternoon?

I actually did that when I was 16 :) holy crap, that was 9 years ago... gettin old... :)

If they have it on the same streets as they do every year (I only went once 3 years ago). There is this big billboard, by I think some sports store or ice rink, that you can climb up on and watch the race.

Yep Terry, all went OK. I had to put down more up front as I have no credit here but that has also brought my monthly payments down so sweet!!! I also had to go 2 years rather than 4.

So I pay the balance on downpayment on Saturday and all should be well.

Those seem like a nice bunch of guys at Speciality.

All of a sudden i'm feeling right at home here in Canada! :)))

Now all I need to do is save up for a mountain bike that can take North Shore hard hits and tree collisions!!! Hehe!!
