Hello All,
I am brand new to NASIOC, because I will be ordering a new 2006 WRX here soon. I have been talking to the internet managers at several dealerships and I have gotten the price to $26350. This includes:
5-Speed
Limited Package
Security System Upgrade
Rear Diff Protector
Wheel Locks
Floor Mats
Engine Block Heater
Boost Guage
Amp/Subwoofer
Momo Shift Knob
The MSRP on the Subie website is right at 29K. The Invoice from Edmunds is about $26,850.
So it seems like a good deal to me. Or am I missing something?
Anyone know about the reputations of service depts. at Subie dealers around the C Springs area?
Any advice for a Subie Newbie is appreciated.

Buddy, I sell these cars here in Indiana - we don't move much off of the sticker on the 2006's - and especially not on the limiteds, they are in demand. The 3 we have gotten so far are gone already.
Buy it...unless there's some kind of wierd catch, you know make sure that the only extra charges are tax, tag, title, and doc fee (if they have a doc fee). That price should include shipping, and don't go for "paint sealant" or "undercoat" charges.
Good Luck, if you want me to ship one to you at full price, I'd be obliged!!! ;)

Well that is certainly encouraging! Looks like I'll be taking the deal. Hopefully soon I'll be posting all about the new ride here shortly. Thanks.

Before you do anything I strongly suggest you talk to Joe Culley at King Subaru in Longmont. I know it's WAY north of you, but that guy sells cars well bellow invoice. Do a search for used 2006 Imprezas within 200 miles or so on Autotrader and it should bring up the current King Subaru offerings. They list there cars in the used section and call it the "new for the price of used" sale. I got my 05 Rex for 21,999. A modest 3500 below sticker. They are great to deal with. You won't be disapointed. If you do go up there make sure you print out the Ad to get an additional 100 bucks off. People have been known to cross borders to buy from King.
If they don't have what you are looking for drop me a PM and I can get you in touch with an Auto Broker (he's a friend, I don't get kick backs or anything) that may be able to do just as good, and probably better than any local dealer in C. Springs or Denver.
Check these avenues before you sign any paperwork. It could definately save you some cash. By the way, when you get your new car you need to come join the Colorado crew on the Pirate Ship (www.awdpirates.net (the server is in Evergreen, I think they lost their power tonight in the snow so check later)).
