OK, so i was noticing in this thread that a lot of people are getting these double din TV/DVD monitors and putting them where the factory radio normally goes. This is inconceivable (sp?) to me because theft would be a big issue b/c it would constantly be in full view. My question is:

Is it possible to install a Mobile Video screen (by any company, Eclipse, Pioneer, etc.) with DVD capability and still keep the stock stereo/6 disc changer???

Yes you can install one there. You just need to be careful about the depth of the unit. I think 7" is the limit.

that's my problem: double din units look so frickin' sweet but there isn't really a good anti-theft feature. i know some units require a password to be entered to use them, but that doesn't stop a thief from taking it in the first place and finding out he can't use it later. thiefs will take anything and try to sell it. :mad:

get a pioneer one and use the quick release keys and just pop it out and put it in the trunk whenever you leave.. hassle, but safe
