it was a good weekend. OMG its fun to shift at 8K on my EJ20.....

the version 5 drivetrain looks like a version 4. the version 2 driveline looks like version 5. the usdm clone going to be is looking currently like a mixmatched mut of sorts. very fun to pull the e-brake in though.
too bad it took us too long to get the FD sorted - kinda. then we'd have a black 14/15, black 33gtr, black gc8 v5, black FD. that would be pretty sick.

i love my gearbox. sti-RA dccd 3.9 box. it is NOT for sale. if you can get your hands on one please do. its worth your time. accel is freakishly fast, 5th gear is a passing gear :P
i've been trying to get some of them but they are hard to come by. working it though....

the RB26 spins higher than my EJ20 - can you believe that?
multiple boxxer rumble in one place is intense though. makes me freak out and be happy. rumbleness...

Not a problem with the right valve springs, retainers, buckets and cams.
Transmission might not be able to rev that high at that point, though.

Actually, that is Xephyr. He's a member here, not there. Somebody just cut and paste an old NASIOC thread and put it in the stickies.
And you are taking it out of context. He downshifted on purpose to see what it would take to blow up his Ej22T with Ej25 heads. It was some personal R&D he was doing. He has never run a redline higher than 8500...
