i'm moving. 1500 miles away, so must clear out the garage.
$2K firm or trade for somthing interesting.
1986 toyota corolla GT-S coupe. AE86.
195K miles, its an AE86 so stuff has obviously been replaced
ive owned the car for 7 months and really just played with it (havnt driven it more than 300 miles total)
maintenance:
stainless steel brake lines (all 5)
Brake MC is new with warrenty
hub bearings
brand new cap and rotor
spark plugs replaced also
fuel pump replaced with GC8
- pair of brand new front ball joints included (not installed - not needed but im anal retentive about this kinda stuff)
making it not nearly as slow as a stock AE86:
C's Short shift kit - shifts good. like its supposed to.
T3 test pipe (no cat)
flowmaster muffler - sounds good (exhaust made by local exhaust shop - its decent)
cone filter MAF adapter and HKS style mushroom air filter
TRD spark plug wires
Lightweight crank pulley as well
drivetrain mech stuff:
Radiator: replaced with late 87 model metal tank 3X thick as stock. pretty damm good
valvecover gaskets have been replaced - cost me $45
OEM oilcooler. pretty trick.
Motor is in good condition: compression is 179:173:177:179. stock range is between 165-180 i believe, usually a 15% range is good. mine is quite good
gearbox is in good condition as well, syncros all good
TOMEi Late ae86 model series LSD. BRAND NEW 2 way clutch LSD made by kaaz and installed professionally by guy who does all the lsd installs for the 1,000 HP supra's around here. (read a couple issues back of Sport compact car).
i bought it brand new and have driven it enough to break it in. zero drift events - honestly, pink slip is yours if im lying. was going to drift event it but i got sick as hell.
the tomei 2 way LSD costs about $800 bux brand new. mab more mab less. installation is pretty expensive- u can call your local toyota dealer for a quote. the rear end alone is probaly worth $1400 bux or so.
suspension.
some unknown dampers (all4 are good)
eibach springs (i think with unknown rates).
drives pretty good.
wheels;
full set of 14's wheels with some spares. i think i may have 6 wheels altogeather. lotsa spare used tires u can have too.
also have a set of 14x7" supra wheels the buyer can have for $150 extra.
lotsa tires. tires are free.
body: dent in rear driverside quarter panel, not that bad. u can probaly fix it pretty quickly if u are good with body work, i just didnt get around to it.
paint: its been sprayed black gloss. not bad looking.
interior: taken out, but included with car. no rear seats
Corbeau 4 point harness for driverseat
powersteering works great. no AC.
mirrors: replaced with carbon fiber technosquare style. not the greatest but they work and are light as utter hell.
$2000. pick it up in austin texas today, drive it anywhere. title is clean and in my hand.
basically, i bought the car and wanted to make a competition drift car, but got caught up in other affairs. so come pick it up, let me loose some money on it and makee your life easier. u dont really need anything, just put some fresh used tires on the rims (included) and drift the hell outa it. quite a fun car.RUST FREE TEXAS CAR
