In the distant future I plan on upgrading my 2002 WRX. I have a helix up-pipe, txs downpipe, and custom 3" exhaust w/ magnaflow muffler as of now. If done quite a bit of searching around and have decided on what I want. Now I just have a few questions as to where I'm going and if it's correct. Here's what I plan on doing:
- S2 Short Block w/ ARP Studs and Cosmetic Head Gaskets
- JDM EJ20 v8 RA-Spec C Heads w/ v8 ECU and v8 Harness
- Perrin Big MAF
- Perrin Turbo Inlet Hose
- Perrin Fuel Rails
- APS DR725 FMIC
- Walbro Pump & pe800cc injectors
- DB 20g turbo
Now my first question is, what would be the most flexible engine management system to use. I want to be able to control the AVCS, and get the most power out of this setup.
Second question is, what kind of numbers do you think I will be putting up on 93 octane with this setup? Do you guys recommend a different turbo on this setup?
Lastly, is there anything else needed in order to complete and survive this setup correctly?
