View Full Version : trying to run a linkplus in a 98 RS with a ej22t

and it isn't working. I installed the link today but I'm unable to get the car started (not getting any spark).

Between there being very little info about the 98 ECU, no one reallying runing LINKplus, and my limited knowledge, things aren't going to well.

What exactly are the differences (in terms of ignition) in the 98rs and the 99 (i used the 99 rs as a comparision)

Pin 1 and 2 on the 98 ECU is supposed to be 12 volt..these wires aren't showing twelve volts. In order for me to get the link running, I ahve to use the "ignition switch" wire. That seems weird. I ran a direct wire from the battery to the ecu and worked, but car still won't start.

Do you have a map loaded into the link?
Check the AFI forum, there is a good bit of Link info in there.
