Are either of these floating hat rotors?

Dasani - No we do not recommend floating rotors for street use. Floating rotors are beneficial for track use only. They become noisey as you use them; also the operating costs are higher due to the fact that you will have to also replace the hats after you replace the discs 2-3 times.

One big "downfall" of the floating mechanism is that if you're able to get up to those operating temperatures; the rest of the discs is under the process of warping or warped already (or if you have un-even pad deposit on the surface). Yes the floating design will dampen this feel through the pedel; but it doesn't mean you don't have to replace the disc portion. (ie: if you don't feel it doesn't, it doesn't mean you don't have to replace it).

That's the reason I wanted to be sure these were not floating hats. :D
